I protagonisti di questa storia sono Tyler e Mia, una coppia consolidata. Tyler è il fratello di Christopher ed è sposato con Mia. Sono molto affiatati e aspettano un bambino. Ma sappiamo che questa autrice non ci rende la vita facile, nel prologo Mia perde la bambina quando è incinta di ventidue settimane.
La situazione rompe l’equilibrio della coppia. Entrambi si chiudono in loro stessi fino ad allontanarsi in modo irreparabile.
Quella che poteva essere una storia relativamente tranquilla, si trasforma e ci inonda della sofferenza di due anime destinate a stare insieme, ma separate da un destino crudele.
L’autrice ha uno stile coinvolgente, che fa vivere i sentimenti e soffrire insieme ai protagonisti, fa piangere solo leggendo una parola messa al posto giusto, fa sognare e distrugge i sogni del lettore in poche pagine. Spinge a continuare a leggere per capire, costringe a smettere per non soffrire.
Non credo di essere pronta a leggere il terzo libro, questo mi ha lasciata abbastanza sconvolta, ma devo continuare perché ho necessità di sapere cosa metterà nella prossima storia per renderla stratosferica come questa.

The second couple that introduces us to the author, are Tyler and Mia. A well-established couple, Tyler is Christopher's brother and is married to Mia. I am a very close-knit couple who are expecting a baby. But we know that this author does not make our life easy, in the prologue Mia loses the child when she is twenty-two weeks pregnant.
The situation breaks the balance of the couple. Both close in on themselves to the point of irreparably moving away.
What could have been the story of a relatively peaceful couple is transformed and floods us with the suffering of two souls destined to be together but separated by a cruel destiny.
The author has an engaging style, which makes the feelings live and suffer together with the protagonists, makes one cry only by reading a word put in the right place, makes dreaming and destroys the reader's dreams in a few pages. She pushes you to continue reading to understand, she forces you to stop in order not to suffer.
I don't think I'm ready to read the third book, this has left me quite upset, but I have to continue because I need to know what she will put in the next story to make a stratospheric book like this.
